Character Modeling – Lying Figure (Silent Hill)
Despite possibly breaking my toe tonight, I’m proud to say I finished my final for my Character Modeling class and I love the way it came out. I sculpted a Lying Figure using zBrush based on the model from the Silent Hill movie but using the texture design from its original appearance in the game (Silent Hill 2).
Gargoyle
I designed this gargoyle for [Okiedokoro] based on the “fantasy alter-ego” he got from [this] character generator. I mainly used komodo dragon and vampire bat anatomy as reference but there’s also some gorilla and tiger influence in it’s pose and stature. Another addition was a split jaw similar to snakes that would allow this creature to swallow smaller prey whole or expand to swallow large prey.
Request I finished tonight! Couple art for a customer on SyndroneOnline.
Larger version of my Terezi request! These color pallets are strange to work with. I don’t think I’ve ever done such a muted complementary color pallet before.
Larger size of the Kurloz request I painted!
Work in progress sketch of a ranger character for my portfolio
wolves are hard :c
W.I.P. of the coloring for this picture..
Trying out some new brushes in SAI, not quite sure how they all work just yet but I like it so far
Work in progress of a request to draw someone’s original characters.
I don’t draw kisses very often can you tell?
More warm-ups.
:c I miss my dogs, I don’t get to see them very much since I moved out. Maybe that’s where the idea came from?
Oh well, he’s cute.
Started aimlessly doodling and ended up with animal face shapes and then unintentionally ended up drawing a human personification of the animal faces.
stupid robots… stupid french robots.. being stupid…
These are just some misc. warm up sketches I did while working on the other portfolio pieces. I happened to like how these came out so here’s a nice little sketch dump.
