My design for my Comparative Anatomy class. It was a re-interpretation of the Creature From the Black Lagoon from a related assignment for Conceptual Storytelling in which we had to re-imagine a classic monster movie.
My concept was a steampunk based story, where the ‘lagoon’ in question is located on a floating island, which required that the Creature be able to glide through the air on membranous wings.
Misc. comparative anatomy study from a couple months ago.
Had fun looking through different cat breeds to see what would make an interesting facial structure.
