I was playing a lot of Skyrim (which mostly involves me making new characters, trying out different spells, then starting over with another new character) and came up with an Orc Necromancer. I gave him the Forsworn armor because I thought it was fitting.
Then I started playing Diablo 3 with DeviousBee and I loved her zombie dogs so much that I incorporated them into my Necromancer’s design.
Did a few modifications to the forsworn armor for personal style adjustments and then altered the dog to fit as well.
Updated version of the Gargoyle, now with anatomical breakdown!
Gargoyle
I designed this gargoyle for [Okiedokoro] based on the “fantasy alter-ego” he got from [this] character generator. I mainly used komodo dragon and vampire bat anatomy as reference but there’s also some gorilla and tiger influence in it’s pose and stature. Another addition was a split jaw similar to snakes that would allow this creature to swallow smaller prey whole or expand to swallow large prey.
My design for my Comparative Anatomy class. It was a re-interpretation of the Creature From the Black Lagoon from a related assignment for Conceptual Storytelling in which we had to re-imagine a classic monster movie.
My concept was a steampunk based story, where the ‘lagoon’ in question is located on a floating island, which required that the Creature be able to glide through the air on membranous wings.
