More panels are on the way!! Here’s a preview for the next issue.
Finally got around to painting this butterfly pokemon sketch I did for the start of spring!
I really love how the leaves came out, and vivillon’s wings were a lot of fun to paint.
Nuzlocke: Page 3
Ok, I think that’s enough of introductions, I’ll get moving on to Rout 101 in the next page.
Got a request from @cosasystuff to do the Draw Yourself thing.
He requested LoZ: Wind Waker, Pokemon, and Steven Universe.
I didn’t draw my beard because most of the characters are clean shaven and I thought it fit the style more.
The Steven Universe one is my favorite.
I’m back to work on more panels! I thought it would be funny if things in the Pokémon world operated like they do in real life, where signing up to start training would be like going to the DMV. Also, I named my character “Sol” as a short version of SolarKiwi, which is my user name on Minecraft/Steam/Redbubble.
Sorry for the sketchy mess, I just wanted to get something out so I could get myself to work on something. I’ll try to be less of a mess in future panels.

Pokemon Sapphire: Prologue
Woohoo!! I probably spent waaay too much time to make something this shitty but hey, I’ve got a prologue for my Nuzlocke challenge comic.
Because of the Pokemon 20th Anniversary I really wanted to start it off with a nostalgic feeling of starting your pokemon journey. I doubt I’ll spend this much time on the rest of the panels, mostly because backgrounds and color takes a long time, even if it’s just sketchy and rough.
My family is loosely based (by that I mean poorly drawn) on my actual family, and I’m going to say they live in Verdanturf, so I had to take a bus to Prof. Birch’s lab. (Also I put the moving van next to the real protag’s house).
In honor of Pokemon’s 20th anniversary I started a nuzlocke challenge a couple days ago with the original Pokemon Sapphire.
Here’s a rough sketch of my team as of the Petalburg Woods. (Treeko = Bryn. Wurmple = Dimitri, Zigzagoon = Lilah, Poochyena = Aria, Wingull = Marina)
I was thinking about doing some comic panels to go with my adventure, let me know if you like the idea.
Countdown to Pokemon Day – Day 2: A Pink Pokemon
I couldn’t decide between these two so I drew them both.
Little delayed, but here’s my entry for @pokemon-i-choose-you ‘s Countdown to Pokemon Day art challenge!
Day 1 was a Pokemon pair!
Dark Type Pokemon
More water color painting practice, this time featuring a tough little gang of dark types!
Sketched a semi-realistic Charmander today at work and decided to give it a paint job in Sai when I got home.
Doing some animal studies and I ended up unintentionally sketching a noibat instead of an actual bat face. Lil’ guy sure is cute though.
Pokémon #250 - Ho-oh
It will reveal itself before a pure-hearted trainer by shining its bright rainbow-colored wings.
—————————–
More water color painting practice! Lugia came out pretty good yesterday so I figured I should do it’s counterpart.
Pokemon #249 - Lugia
It is said to be the guardian of the seas. It is rumored to have been seen on the night of a storm.
—————————–
Decided to start practicing with water colors! Lugia was a fun practice project.
New print available on my Redbubble.
I really liked that Mega Sableye drawing I did for the PokeHalloween challenge so I tossed it up with some Dusk, Shiny, and Moon Stones for a fun little tiled print.
It looks really good on a spiral notebook, just saying.
