A sketch from the stream tonight: the Kobold named Meepo from Sunless Citadel that I’m running for a group of friends.
Another sketch from the stream today: Designed a humanoid form for a dragon. Making the scales and little details was for for just a rough sketch.
Doing some animal studies and I ended up unintentionally sketching a noibat instead of an actual bat face. Lil’ guy sure is cute though.
Did a sketch of Winifred Sanderson from Hocus Pocus for the spooky blood moon. I love this movie so much.
Greater Mistral
A fully mature adult female dragon is the high dragon: the great monster of legend, the rarest of all dragonkind.
"High dragons are seldom seen. They spend most of their time sleeping and mating, living off the prey their drakes bring back. But once every hundred years or so, the high dragon prepares for clutching by emerging from her lair and taking wing. She will fly far and wide, eating hundreds of animals, most often livestock, over a course of a few weeks and leaving smoldering devastation in her wake. She then returns to her lair to lay her eggs and will not appear in the skies again for another century.”– Dragon Age: Origins (High Dragon Codex Entry)
Decided to draw some dragons from Dragon Age: Inquisition today and went with the Greater Mistral because it had such a different design from the others (plus it’s body looks kind of like a Kaiju)! Also, it’s color scheme and body stature is very similar the redesign I did for the Creature From the Black Lagoon!
Had so much fun drawing this!!!
